CECILIA VALADEZ

Cecilia Valadez is a Contemporary Mexican-American visual artist. The theme of her paintings is focused on the female figure, highlighting them with integrating textures and varying monochromatic tonalities with metallic colors in high relief. Valadez enjoys painting on easel as well as creating residential murals decorating them with the flora and fauna of the region, her murals are in both Lee and Collier County. Her easel work has been included in major exhibitions such as The Southwest Florida History Museum, Naples Depot Museum, The Baker Museum Artist-Naples, Miami River Art Fair, International Biennale Miami, The Florida Gulf Coast University and Hodges University and elsewhere throughout Florida, New York and some of her works can be found in private Collections in Europe.
